Doug is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He has worked for the Ashdown Mill for 23 years in various roles, from procurement and harvest forester to his current role as sustainibility manager. He was instrumental in forming the Four States Timberland Owners Association. Currently, he serves as the Group Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintaining the required certifications. He is a Registered Forester in Arkansas and an active member of the Arkansas Forestry Association, serving on various forestry association committee's.
Joey is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Forestry. He has over 19 years of experience in the industry and has been part of the mill's wood procurement team since 2008. He is a valuable resource to the FSTOA providing management advice, plannng and implementation to members. He is a Registered Forester in Arkansas and an active member of the Arkansas Forestry Association. He is an avid hunter which aids him in his knowledge of wildlife and habitat management.
Tym has worked in the forest industry for the past 37 years. She started her forestry career in 1981 with the Ashdown Mill and since that time has held many roles from procuring fiber, managing of company lands, to overseeing the harvesting operations. These three areas play a vital role in the sustainable management of forest lands which are a key focus for the FSTOA. She joined the FSTOA team May of 2017 and plays an important role in the Associations daily operations.
Amanda joined the Ashdown Mill team in 2012, and recently moved into the Wood Procurement Administrator role with the Forestry and Woodyard Department. She handles communications and audit preparation, and ensures members needs are met wthin the FSTOA. She is a native to Ashdown and is a 3rd generation family member to work at the Ashdown Mill.
